How to Grow Avignon 2 Rose Snapdragon Seeds

Start snapdragon seeds indoors in clean seed-starting trays filled with a high-quality, well-draining seed-starting mix.

Place one pelleted seed on the surface of each cell and gently press it into the mix. Do not cover the seeds with soil, as snapdragons require light for best germination.

Mist gently to moisten and dissolve the pelleted coating. Keep the growing medium consistently moist but not waterlogged. Maintain germination temperatures around 65–75°F. Snapdragon seeds generally germinate within 7–14 days under favorable conditions.

Once seedlings develop true leaves, provide bright growing light and good airflow. Gradually harden off young plants before transplanting outdoors.

Grow in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil. Providing support netting can help produce straight, high-quality stems for cutting.
