Thank you for shopping with Trailing Petunia. We work hard to process, package, and ship seed orders quickly and securely.
United States Shipping
Shipping within the United States is $6.50 USD for the first item, with additional items in the same order shipping at no additional charge.
U.S. orders of $35 or more qualify for free shipping.
Orders are generally processed and shipped within 2–3 business days, and often sooner.
U.S. orders are shipped through USPS with tracking. Once your order ships, tracking information will be sent to the email address you provided at checkout.
Orders are packaged in protective bubble mailers or boxes as appropriate to help protect seeds during transit.
Canada Shipping
We currently ship seed orders to Canada using USPS international shipping.
Canadian shipping charges are based on the total order value and are displayed at checkout.

Canadian orders over $350 USD qualify for free shipping.
Tracking information will be provided for applicable shipments. Once a shipment enters Canada, final delivery and tracking updates may be handled by Canada Post.
International delivery times may vary because of customs processing, inspections, postal delays, weather, or other circumstances outside our control.
Canadian customers are responsible for determining whether the seeds they purchase may legally be imported into Canada and whether any permits, certificates, duties, taxes, tariffs, or other requirements apply.
Countries We Ship To
Trailing Petunia currently ships directly to:
United States and Canada only.
We do not offer direct shipping to other countries at this time.
Customs, Duties, Taxes & Import Requirements
Trailing Petunia is not responsible for customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, brokerage charges, inspection fees, or other fees imposed by customs or governmental authorities. Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer.
We are also not responsible for delays, inspections, holds, rejections, or other actions taken by customs, agricultural, quarantine, postal, or governmental authorities.
Customers are responsible for checking applicable import laws, seed restrictions, and other requirements before placing an order.
Trailing Petunia cannot guarantee that a particular seed variety will be permitted for import into Canada or any other jurisdiction.
Order Processing & Changes
Our team processes orders quickly so they can ship as soon as possible.
Once an order enters processing, we cannot add, remove, substitute, or change items in that order.
If you forgot an item or would like to purchase additional seeds, please place a separate order through our website.
This policy helps us process orders efficiently and prevents delays for our customers.
Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
Please carefully check your name, street address, apartment or unit number, city, state or province, ZIP or postal code, and all other required information before submitting your order.
Trailing Petunia ships orders to the address provided by the customer at checkout. We are not responsible for delivery problems caused by an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address supplied by the customer.
If USPS or our shipping system cannot validate an address or generate a shipping label, we may contact the customer for a corrected address or cancel and refund the order.
If a package is returned to Trailing Petunia because of an incorrect or incomplete address, a refund may be issued after the merchandise has been returned to us. Original shipping charges are not refundable.
Tracking
Tracking information is provided for applicable shipments.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with available tracking information so you can follow the shipment's progress.
Tracking updates are provided by the postal carriers. Trailing Petunia does not control when USPS, Canada Post, or other postal authorities scan or update a shipment.
International tracking may update differently from domestic U.S. tracking after the shipment enters the destination country's postal system.
Packages Marked Delivered
If tracking shows that a package has been delivered, but you cannot locate it, please contact your local USPS office, Canada Post, or applicable postal carrier as soon as possible.
Postal carriers have access to delivery information that may help determine where a package was delivered.
Trailing Petunia is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged after the carrier has recorded successful delivery, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Packaging
We package our seed orders carefully to help protect them during shipping.
Orders are shipped in protective bubble mailers, boxes, or other appropriate packaging depending on the size and contents of the order.
Our goal is to protect seed packets from crushing and other normal shipping damage while they are in transit.
Discounts & Free U.S. Shipping
Customers purchasing five or more qualifying items receive a 15% discount at checkout.
U.S. orders totaling $35 or more qualify for free shipping.
Free shipping applies to qualifying U.S. orders only.
International Documentation, Permits & Export Services
Trailing Petunia does not provide, obtain, prepare, arrange, or assist with phytosanitary certificates, import permits, customs clearance, agricultural permits, quarantine documentation, or other specialized documentation or services that may be required for the international importation of seeds or other products.
Customers are responsible for determining the laws, restrictions, documentation, permits, certificates, customs requirements, agricultural requirements, quarantine requirements, and other conditions applicable to their destination before placing an order.
Trailing Petunia does not guarantee, represent, or certify that any seed, plant product, or other merchandise purchased from our website is eligible for import into any particular country or jurisdiction.
Freight Forwarders & Third-Party Reshipping
Trailing Petunia ships an order only to the shipping address provided by the customer at checkout.
If a customer chooses to have an order subsequently forwarded, reshipped, transported, or exported to another country by a freight forwarder, fulfillment center, package-forwarding service, export company, friend, relative, agent, or other third party, all arrangements and responsibilities associated with that subsequent shipment are the responsibility of the customer and/or the party arranging the shipment.
Delivery of an order to a U.S. freight forwarder, fulfillment center, reshipping company, or other U.S. address does not constitute approval, authorization, or certification by Trailing Petunia that the merchandise may subsequently be exported from the United States or imported into another country.
If a customer or third party chooses to forward an order internationally after delivery, they do so independently of Trailing Petunia and are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
Trailing Petunia is not responsible for subsequent international shipments that are delayed, detained, rejected, returned, confiscated, destroyed, or otherwise restricted by customs, agricultural, quarantine, postal, or other governmental authorities.
No refund, replacement, reimbursement, or credit will be provided solely because a subsequent international shipment encounters customs, import, agricultural, quarantine, documentation, or regulatory problems, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Acceptance of Shipping Terms
By placing an order with Trailing Petunia, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the applicable shipping, address, customs, import, and international shipping terms stated above.
