25 Pansy Seeds Freefall XL Purple Face F1 Hybrid – Spreading Flower Seeds

Freefall XL Purple Face F1 Hybrid Pansy Seeds – Dramatic Purple Blooms for Cascading Garden Displays!

Give your autumn and spring gardens a dramatic splash of color with Freefall XL Purple Face F1 Hybrid Pansy Seeds. Featuring beautiful, extra-large flowers with distinctive purple facial markings, this spreading pansy creates an eye-catching display that brings character and contrast to garden beds, decorative containers, and hanging baskets.

Purple Face is an especially attractive selection for gardeners who enjoy pansies with expressive flower patterns. Its contrasting facial markings add visual depth to each bloom, making the flowers stand out beautifully among green foliage and neighboring plants.

Unlike traditional upright bedding pansies, Freefall XL Purple Face grows outward rather than upward. The plants first form neat, low mounds, then develop an abundance of flexible flowering stems that gradually spread across the soil or cascade over the edges of planters.

Create a Carpet of Purple-Faced Pansy Flowers

One of the most impressive features of this F1 Hybrid is its ability to fill open garden spaces with flowers.

Reaching only 4–6 inches in height, Freefall XL Purple Face spreads approximately 14–20 inches wide, creating broad coverage without excessive vertical growth.

The XL series offers two important improvements over regular Freefall pansies: larger flowers and a more expansive spreading habit.

This makes Purple Face particularly useful for planting along pathways, filling the front of flower borders, and softening the edges of raised garden beds.

Its naturally tidy, non-tangling growth helps maintain an attractive appearance even as the plants become covered in blooms.

Beautiful Flowers for Decorative Containers

Looking for something different for your fall porch planters?

Freefall XL Purple Face adds a distinctive appearance to seasonal arrangements with its expressive flowers and graceful cascading stems.

Use it in hanging baskets, window boxes, decorative urns, or mixed containers with complementary cool-season plants.

The spreading stems soften the edges of containers while the extra-large blooms create an impressive floral display.

Dependable Cool-Season Garden Performance

Pansies are among the most popular flowers for cool-weather gardening, and Freefall XL Purple Face offers excellent performance during the spring and fall growing seasons.

Its strong weather tolerance and exceptionally floriferous growth help maintain beautiful garden color when many warm-season flowers are beginning to fade.

Under favorable growing conditions, this variety flowers abundantly while maintaining the neat appearance that makes the Freefall series so popular.
