Refund Policy & Terms

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from Trailing Petunia. Please review the following terms before placing your order.

U.S. Returns — 60 Days

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 60 days of delivery at gardenstarts@hotmail.com to request a return.

Eligible returns must be sent back in their original condition and packaging. Seed packets must be unopened, unused, and in resalable condition.

Unless the return is the result of an error by Trailing Petunia, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs and for packaging the return appropriately to prevent damage during transit.

Once the returned merchandise is received and inspected, an applicable refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

International Orders — No Returns

All international sales, including orders shipped to Canada, are final and are not eligible for return or exchange.

Because of international postage costs, customs requirements, agricultural regulations, and import restrictions, we do not accept returns on international orders.

However, Trailing Petunia may, at our sole discretion, choose to issue a full or partial refund, replacement, store credit, or other resolution when we determine that circumstances warrant it.

Providing an exception in one situation does not require us to provide the same exception in another situation.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Seed Germination & Growing Results

We make every reasonable effort to provide quality seeds. However, there are many different methods for starting seeds, and successful germination and plant growth depend on conditions that are outside our control after the seeds have been delivered.

Factors may include temperature, moisture, planting depth, growing medium, light, water quality, storage conditions, disease, pests, fertilizer, and individual growing practices.

For these reasons, Trailing Petunia cannot guarantee individual germination or growing results, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Customers are responsible for researching and following the appropriate germination and growing requirements for the varieties they purchase.

If you purchase seeds early for planting later in the season, you are responsible for storing them properly until planting.

Packages Marked Delivered

All applicable shipments include tracking.

If USPS, Canada Post, or another applicable postal carrier records a package as delivered to the shipping address provided with your order, but you cannot locate the package, please contact your local post office or postal carrier.

The postal carrier may have additional delivery information that can help locate the package.

Trailing Petunia is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or misplaced after the postal carrier has recorded successful delivery, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.

Trailing Petunia is not responsible for delivery problems caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.

If an order is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges if they would like the order shipped again.

Problems With an Order

If we made an error with your order or you believe there is another problem with the merchandise you received, please contact us at gardenstarts@hotmail.com so we can review the situation.

Depending on the circumstances, we may provide an appropriate refund, replacement, store credit, or other resolution.

Acceptance of These Terms

By completing a purchase from Trailing Petunia, you acknowledge and agree to the applicable terms of this Refund Policy.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
